Rhonda Corey – Christian Comedienne

Rhonda Corey will appear at the Upper Room in March. If you have never met Rhonda before you are in for a treat. She is a Christian Comedienne who attends Cranston Christian Fellowship.
Rhonda’s bio tells us, “Rhonda’s passion for comedy started at a young age and it has always been part of her nature to be a “straight A” class clown. The transparency of her everyday life spills out into a standup routine that has the audiences roaring with laughter.
Rhonda believes that Christians need to take time to laugh. She takes that seriously, stating “Christians should be more joyful than anyone! I think we need to be reminded that God created laughter.” She has often wondered if there’s a verse or two she missed in the Bible that instruct, “Thou shalt not laugh” or “Thou shalt not enjoy thyself.”
She has performed at the women’s Iron Sharpens Iron Conference several times in front of over 1,000 women. She has been the MC at a Carenet banquet and opened for Crimson Rain at Faith Baptist Church.
