TK Ministries once again hosts the Annual Rock the Bay Concert Series on June 28th from 12 – 6PM at Colt State Park in Bristol RI.
TK Ministries serves the Rhode Island and Massachusetts area by producing free concerts to benefit various organizations who serve the poor; such as The Providence Rescue Mission, Ferry Street Ministries, Crossroads RI, Salvation Army and Mary House Ministries, just to mention a few.
Band leader, drummer and vocal extrodinaire for NBJ, Donald Smith, (Smitty to everyone who has met him at least once) tells us, “Our Rock the Bay concert series brings together many different bands who give of their talents to encourage the body of Christ and help the homeless and the ministries that reach out to them.”
This year on stage with NBJ will be Raging Garce, Nation, Crimson Rain and special guests Brethren. “At this years event we will collect items for the Good News Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry. Attendees are asked to bring a picnic lunch along with non-perishable food items, new clothing, and food cards to help out.”, says Smitty.
Smitty has one request, “We hope you can join us at Colt State park this year. Bring your whole family for a day of fresh air, fun and fellowship, all in honor of a very good cause…loving of our neighbors.”
