On May 30th– June 1st the beautiful setting of Canonicus Camp and Conference Center in Exeter, R.I. will be the location for the first annual Rhode Island Christian Women’s Retreat. A casual conversation between women desiring deeper fellowship led to prayer from which this unique event was birthed. Our vision is a God-honoring weekend designed around the concept of our “Flavorful God!” As the Psalmist says, all are invited to “taste and see that the Lord is good!”
Fourteen local women will serve as speakers, singers, dancers, artists, and storytellers. They represent nine different Rhode Island congregations of varying denominations and they’re so committed to serving the women who attend, they’ve paid for their own registrations. No matter what flavor our weekly worship, we want to gather as one to honor the God who loves us all and calls us to love one another.
