Carman Will Sing Benefit Concert for Peace and Providence at Praise Tabernacle in Cranston

The Good News Today Staff

Carman Domenic Licciardello is an enigma in Christian music, often described as part evangelist, part Vegas Showman. His concerts were more like a rock and roll Billy Graham Crusade than a Christian music event. After all the singing, dancing, clapping and preaching, throngs of people would stream down to the counseling area to accept Christ often as many as 5,000 in an evening. In fact Carman holds the record for the largest Christian concert ever in Dallas, Texas with 71,132 in attendance. He is more than just an A-list artist Carman is a Cultural Phenomenon.

On July 27th at 7PM you will have a chance to see Carman perform at Praise Tabernacle in Cranston Rhode Island in a benefit concert for Peace and Providence Ministries.
Peace & Providence is a ministry for “under resourced” individuals within our community, state, and surrounding areas. They work to restore hope and provide opportunities for people to become all that God intends them to be while partnering with local churches to put Christian faith into action throughout the community.

Peace and Providence serves as a haven for those who are hungry, lonely, and feeling unloved and unwanted, providing a place where God’s love will be experienced, especially to those who may be considered by others as “hard to love”.

They build relationships by offering a very basic scriptural presentation of the Gospel message, along with accepting prayer requests, and assisting to meet the needs for daily living. They host special events, engage in street evangelism, offer a food pantry, clothing ministry, and other programs to reach and impact the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Currently the ministry is in need of monthly financial support along with volunteers. Come to the concert and help support a good cause. People can visit their website at for more info.
