Whether you are receiving a refund or having to pay more taxes, keep in mind that you are being forced today to reckon with everything about the federal government that you don’t like. I don’t like my tax dollars going to so many things that this government supports. I don’t want to subsidize establishing Islamic terrorist states, including the Palestinian Authority, across the world. I don’t want to support abortion as part of women’s health care. I don’t want to support homosexual marriage. I don’t want to support persecution of Christians not only in our schools and government buildings, but also by America’s support of governments who allow the murder of Christians on a regular basis. I don’t want to support these things, but I am forced to do so.
April 15 is a national holiday for tyranny. It is the day where you are forced to file your income tax to the Internal Revenue Service, an unconstitutional, non-elected agency that has absolute authority to seize your property, garnish your wages, and systematically destroy your life BEFORE it has proven you are guilty. The burden of proof is on you if the IRS accuses you. The IRS is also a militant political arm of the current Democratic Party. The president and Democratic members of Congress use the IRS to intimidate Americans who don’t agree with their brand of socialism. Case in point is how the IRS harassed conservative and religious groups applying for not for profit status–remember communists ban all religion.
Just to reenforce the communist theme, CBS news recently reported that the Dallas office of the IRS was surely behind the occupant of the Oval Office’s reelection bid in 2012. A federal probe has concluded the employees of the Dallas IRS Taxpayer Assistance office were illegally wearing the president’s reelection T-shirts, buttons and stickers. They even had his screen-savers on IRS computers. It’s been longstanding law, via the Hatch Act, that federal employees cannot be active in political campaigns while they are on the clock.
House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Ca) has obtained documents where Maryland Democrat and ranking minority member Elijah Cummings asked for an IRS investigation of the conservative voter fraud prevention group True the Vote. Lois Lerner, the former IRS official was also involved in this harassment. Cummings said the allegations are not true, but Issa has the actual emails from Cummings and his office. This is nothing new. When I was a conservative political consultant in the 80s and 90s, I was audited by the IRS several consecutive years while the Democratic party controlled Congress. I believed then that it was harassment. And I believe it now.
Republicans want Attorney General Eric Holder, the nations chief law non-enforcement officer to press criminal charges against Lois Lerner of the IRS. Holder is disrespectfully telling Congressmen not to go there. He has no intention of prosecuting someone who was acting on the orders of her party and the president to harass those who disagree with this ruling communist junta. Jesus said in Mark 12:17, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” Our president is no Caesar, though he may think he is. And the IRS is not of God. An unjust law is no law at all. But until we as a nation begin to follow God rather than man, you and me will be forced to support the ungodly.
