Is this memo the document that sends former President Barack Obama and his cronies to jail? A document linking senior staff in the Obama administration, the FBI, and the allegedly illegal FISA wiretaps of Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign was reviewed recently by approximately 50 congressmen.
What they saw was so shocking, they’ve demanded its release to the American people. One congressman called it “worse than Watergate” and said it’s release will end special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation immediately.
This isn’t a fringe conspiracy theory, folks. This is as credible as it gets. Numerous U.S. lawmakers have come forward to demand the memo be released immediately. They’re demanding FBI chiefs and NSA bosses be fired or even jailed.
Upon viewing the memo, a U.S. congressman compared the actions of the Obama administration in 2016 to the secret police of the Soviet Union. “You think about, ‘is this happening in America or is this the KGB?’ That’s how alarming it is,” and Pennsylvania Rep. Scott Perry.
The facts contained in the memo could lead to jail time for a lot of Obama officials — and even the former president himself. That’s according to Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz, who told Fox News’ Sean Hannity that the information it contained was an attack on the “very foundations of democracy.”
After seeing the memo, Gaetz called Mueller’s investigation “a lie built on corruption” and said Obama insiders would “go to jail.”
Perry and Gaetz are not alone, either. A staggering amount of elected officials stepped forward Thursday to share their serious concerns. Congressman after congressman has come forward to demand the memo’s immediate release.
These lawmakers say the information contained within has the makings of the biggest political scandal in American history — and it’s something the American people deserve to see. Here’s what they’re saying:
